I've been doing this ride and fundraising for the Boys & Girls Club of Frederick County for many years, but this year is special. Many of you may not know that I haven't been able to do this ride for the past two years.

In April of 2023, I ruptured a disc in my back, which led to back surgery and a long, difficult recovery. I couldn't get on a bike for more than a year. But I'm finally back to the point where I'm ready to try the metric century ride (62.5 miles). So I have two years of catching up to do.
